Dear Myra and family,
Our deepest condolences in the loss of your loved one. Alfred was like a second ‘Dad’ to us, always there to comfort, offer support, be our guiding light..we will miss him dearly. Thinking of you, with love and prayers…Bev and Al
I had the good fortune to serve with Alfred at McDermot Church. He was a quiet, patient man – always capable and available, always calm. He did his work with a quiet dignity that showed me that he didn’t seek personal recognition, but rather the satisfaction of faithfully carrying out his role. He was a stabilizing presence in a sometimes turbulent place, and I have fond memories of his godly character.
Sorry to hear of your sudden loss. I appreciated getting to know Alfred when he worked at McDermot church and to reconnect with you on my visits to,Kelowna. My thoughts and prayers are with you Myra and family

I was very saddened to hear of Alfred’s passing. We had a special bond for 7 years as secretary & custodian at McDermot Ave Baptist Church. I always looked forward to our morning coffee/tea time where we sat & chatted about life and many things.. He had a quiet sense of humor, was diligent and hard working and always had that shy smile on his face. It was great to be able to see him whenever I visited my parents in Kelowna! My prayers are with you, Myra and family. May our loving Heavenly Father bring you strength and comfort at this time!
Thinking and praying for you during this difficult time. Myra you have always been my special friend and my heart hurts for you as well. Will be praying for you and for strength as you go through this week and especially for Saturday.
