Passed away peacefully with family around him on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the age of 75. Survived by his loving wife Patricia of 54 years, daughters: Jeanette (Dale) Connell of Surrey, BC, Julie (Jacob) Snowden of Anaheim, CA; sons: Paul of Surrey, BC, Graham (Lisa) of Victoria, BC; grandchildren: Jeni, Krista-Lyn, Matthew, Megan, Faith, Samuel and Nathaniel; brother-in-law Chris Haworth and nephew Warren Anderson both of England.  Predeceased by his parents and younger sister, Carol.  He was Director of Emergency Services, member of the Elks and volunteer with Citizens on Patrol in Princeton.  Celebration of Life event is planned at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to BC Lung Association, P.O. Box 34009, Postal Station D, Vancouver, BC V6J 4M2.

    I am stunned to hear that Chris has died as he had told us that his prognosis had seemed to be good. I am so very, very sorry. We will be forever grateful for all the help he gave the 3 families affected by the fires on Fenchurch, some “above and beyond”. Know that your husband, father and Grandpa served the community of Princeton well, often in unknown capacities. RIP Chris and thank you from Larry and I.
