    Dear Fran,
I am so sad to hear of Jack’s passing. Every year during lawschool, I so looked forward to making the annual trip home with Kim for her birthday. I have the fondest memories of summer evenings with all us together in Jack’s garden enjoying your amazing homecooking and telling stories. I still remember Jack’s wonderful story about finding the gold in the haystack. I also remember him telling stories of meeting you here in Canada and falling love. What a wonderful husband, father and storyteller extraordinaire. I know he will be greatly missed.
    Love and kind thoughts,
    Heidi, Tony & Isabelle
