We are deeply saddened by the sudden death of our dad, grandpa and devoted husband, Michael Nutz, who passed away on December 9, 2016 at the age of 80. Dad was born on November 23, 1936 in Romania. He was the youngest of six children, born to Adolph and Louisa Nutz. He will be greatly missed by his wife Ann (nee Nederveen) of 58 years; daughters: Karen (Jeff) Austin, Michelle (Ron) Baart; grandchildren: Jenn (Sarah), Julie, Amanda, Sydney, Michael and great grandson Finn. Dad and family moved to Kelowna in 1964. After his retirement, Dad spent much of his time trying to perfect his golf game at Kelowna Golf and Country Club, where he made many wonderful friends. Dad was also an avid skier, curler and enjoyed RV’ing. The family wishes to thank Dr. Swart and Dr. Wickstrom. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, December 19th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. Dear Ann, we are so very sorry to hear of Mike’s sudden passing.
His sense of humour will not be forgotten, especially by his golfing and curling buddies.
heel veel liefs en sterkte Anneke,
zo veel jaren getrouwd door dik een dun.
Ik heb heel veel memories of Mike die zullen we samen delen in de toekomst.
I love you your friend, Marjan
Ann and family I am stunned by the news of Mike’s passing, and I guess you would feel the same.
Mike was able to see to sunshine and the upside of everything and he was always a treat to visit with. His last email after I sent him birthday wishes, showed his glowing and warm spirit through in his reply and I quote “wow, you make me feel sooooo special, thank you so much for your inspirational poem and words. Mike”
You mind all of us that knew you somehow better.
On to your next adventure Mike.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Auntie Ann and your family , Uncle Mike was quite the character , He now is at peace right now with his brothers and sisters, we are here for support , love always, Ron and Bonnie
Auntie Ann, I just heard about Uncle Mike and am so sorry. The Christmas season hasn’t been too kind to our families it seems. How are you holding up? I’m afraid I won’t be able to make it out there for the funeral but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
With Love,
Linda
Dear Ann; our sincere sympathy for your loss.
