NYCHKA, Donald Peter
June 29, 1934 — February 20, 2016
Passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the age of 81. Survived by his daughter Carol, sons Perry and Mickey, grandchildren Jamie Mauro, Hanan Parker, Don and Sam Kilmury, and Michael Corey, great grandchildren Havan, Siena, Milan and Lucio, sister Audrey (Roman) Batuik of Manitoba, brother Dennis (Anna) Nychka of Manitoba and son-in-law Mark Kilmury. Predeceased by his wife Alice Nychka, parents Effie and Mike Nychka, brother Murray and sister Nadia and daughter Soo Kilmury.
Donald was born June 12th 1934 in the rural municipality of Gilbert Plains, Manitoba.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Sts. Peter and Paul, 1935 Barlee Rd, Kelowna, BC with Father Roman Trynoha. Interment to follow Monday, February 29, 2016 at 10:00 am at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 2850 Dry Valley Rd, Kelowna, BC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC, Suite 307-1664 Richter Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 8N3.
