We Remember

April 1, 1957 — February 28, 2023

A Celebration of Life will be held SATURDAY, JUNE 17, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at SPRINGFIELD FUNERAL HOME (2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC). Reception will follow at John & Lorna’s House (2757 Paula Road, West Kelowna, BC).

With a deep sense of loss, we announce that Glen O’Connor, at age 65, passed away while surrounded by the love of his family, on February 28, 2023. Glen is survived by his son Sean; his brother John (Lorna) and niece Natasha; his brother Wayne; and his parents, Maurice and Myrtle O’Connor.

Glen Grew up in Montreal, QC, he moved to Calgary, AB, and then to British Columbia. In his younger years, he loved to dirt bike, as the years passed he took up playing pool, golf, and bowling. A free spirit, Glen toured throughout the USA in a camper van and was regularly self-employed in various trades. One of his long-term ventures was owning a Pressure Washing Company. But, life changed dramatically for Glen in April 1996; a fall, that resulted in a head injury, altered his future forever. For the past 13 years, he lived at Connect Communities in Lake Country, BC, where the quality of his life was awesome!
