You can’t think about Vic and not smile. He was a man full of energy, who always had a smile on his face. I will miss not getting his yearly Christmas card in the mail this holiday season. Rest in peace Vic.
So sorry to hear the news of Vic’s passing.
I will miss our lunches and conversations. Vic was such a warm and generous man. He was a blessing to me and my family. Praying for God’s peace in this time of grief.

What a guy! Few men go through this world as admired and respected as Vic was . He had a lot of friends, and I am proud to have been one of them. I’ve never met a man who didn’t have something good to say about him. I hadn’t seen him for a few years, but I often think of the good times we had in days past.. My condolences to Vic’s family. I know how much you will miss him.
Our sincere Condolences to All of Victor’s family. We were blessed to personally have worked with Vic in Church settings in the UOC, whether in executive matters or in the Hall, or helping out at Malanka. Some of our fondest memories was watching Vic dancing from kolamaka to slow dancing, he was always on the floor, or visiting tables with his contagious laugh, jokes or just robust conversation. We will miss him dearly. We’re so honoured to have known Vic and his family have so much to be Proud of. God speed Victor. our loss is Heavens gain Ollie and Harvey Yule

Uncle Vic lived a very BIG life; a lesson to us all. He will certainly be missed.
Sending love to Linda, Kim, Duane and family.
Such wonderful memories that were shared. Your father Vic was such a wonderful, caring and fun guy. Always a pleasure to be around. My deepest condolences to the family. I heard this saying and it is so true ‘When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure’. May you continue to enjoy many memories of your father. Love you.
My sincere condolences to Vic’s family, to those who have been closest to him, to those who are grieving. I am truly grateful to have known Vic. He always had such a positive attitude no matter what the circumstance. He radiated joy and happiness around him which was infectious. I always thought “he must have better things to do than mop our floors?!”, but I realized it was much more than ‘just mopping floors’. He was very generous, caring, helpful, thoughtful, kind and of course quite humorous. Even though I have not seen Vic in quite awhile, I always enjoyed being around him and would ask my parents how he was from time to time as I visited Kelowna. Although I can not attend the funeral in person, I am thankful to be able to be present during the livestream option. I am quite saddened to hear of his passing. He will be missed by so many, and kept alive in our hearts and memories.
My heart goes out to you! What an amazing human and will dearly be .missed ❤ 💙
Marie and I knew Victor for over fifty years. We were quite young and Victor was approaching middle age when we met. That did not make any difference: he treated us as friends and we respected him. Later on, we did not see each other as frequently, but when we did it was as though we had not been apart. In our last conversations with him he was straight talking, gracious, and had his great sense of humour.
Kim, Linda, Dwayne: we send you our condolences with love.
Victor was a good man.
The Watson family along with many, many friends and family mourn the passing of Vic. What a special man. He was caring, loving, and generous with a great zest for life and a twinkle in his eyes. We have lots of fond memories of being with him over the years; barbecues, picnics, summer vacations, family celebrations (weddings, birthdays, anniversaries). At Comox, BC in 1969 we gathered around the couch together watching Neil Armstrong’s historic moon landing/walk. We always had lots of fun and laughs whenever Vic was around. At a summer picnic, many years ago, we watched Vic snatch back his cooked steak from our dog Smokey, wipe it off and eat it. No way was that dog getting his steak!
Thank you Uncle Vic for being in our lives. We will miss you always.
Unfortunately none of the Watson family were able to be in Kelowna and attend his service. Wish we had been there to give some in person emotional support and love.
Big hugs and kisses to Kim, Linda and Dwayne. Love you guys.
