Karen and Rob,
I received the news that your mother passed away and I decided to go for a journey back down memory lane with the assistance of my photo album. The earliest picture that I have of Aunt Toni is dated January 1958. I was 2 years old at the time and it appears your mom was out for a visit at our home in Redwater. I also have a picture of the entire Ambrosi gang, including both of you plus your Mom and Dad at one of our annual family reunions. The picture was probably taken at the park in Kelowna (Okanagan waterfront). The picture is undated but as best I can determine it was the summer of 1965. Great times and good memories. Although I will not be travelling north from California on Friday for the funeral, I do send my sincere condolence at the passing of your mom. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all as you gather for this bittersweet family event. Cousin Glenn
Dearest Karen, Rob and families;
So sorry to hear of Toni’s passing. Our sincere condolences to all of you. She was an amazing lady, From treating Rob like one of her own, to adopting our dog Ginger. Unfortunately we are in Sask and will not be able to be at her celebration of life. We will definately be there in spirit. We appreciate your call. Sending love and light at this difficult time.
Rob, Jaccie and family
Hi Rob and Karen,
As my cousin just recently passed away, when I checked the obituaries I saw this familiar name. I am sorry to hear about your loss. I don’t think I ever met your mother personally, but I know that she had a profound influence on your life and was instrumental in forming you into the sincere and passionate individuals that you are today. May the grace and peace of our Lord be with you at this time.
Rob Tamaki
And we should reconnect when I am back in town.
I am so sorry to hear of Tony’s passing, I was her neighbour #307 and we used to have many talks together while she exercised in the hall…she was such a beautiful and funny lady, and a bright light to my day when I could spend time with her…My thoughts and prayers are sent to you..
