Rob Patriquin passed away on April 25, 2024 in West Kelowna, BC. He is survived by Lauren Wilton his wife of 27 years; his children Kellie (Tyler) Steel, Kristina (Steve) Ross, and Chris (Melissa) Wilton; grandchildren Carson & Robbie Steel, and Landon, Jordyn & Aaliyah Ross; siblings Raymond, Randy, and Ronnie Patriquin; brothers-in-law Bob, Ron, and Doug Todd; and his canine companion Emma. He was predeceased by his parents Ray and Gloria Patriquin; and his first wife, Leslea (née Todd) Patriquin.
For over five decades, Rob worked in the automotive industry. He was a passionate sports enthusiast who enjoyed playing hockey. Off the rink, he found solace and joy in the serene greens of the golf course, and found immense pleasure in the tranquility of fishing.
Among his greatest joys in life was watching his grandsons play hockey. Their games brought him immense pride and happiness, and he was their most ardent supporter, cheering them on from the stands with unwavering enthusiasm.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Sindi Ahluwalia Hawkins Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior.

Lou and I send our sincerest condolences to Kellie, Kristina, Lauren and your families for your loss. Rob was a great guy who was always enjoyable to be around. He would give you the shirt off his back but was a bit picky about things. I was stationed in Masset BC with the military and Rob and my brother Doug came to visit for a week of fishing. Rob was not sure about Lou’s cooking so he brought along a weeks worth of Kraft Dinner boxes just in case. Well, after eating lots of seafood all week and falling asleep afterwards, he was quite content with Lou’s cooking. When they left for home, Rob left behind the “KD”. Lou wanting to have some fun, decided to mail the “KD” to him “collect” to his place of work. Needless to say we all had a laugh. Rob, you will be missed but never forgotten. R.I.P. Rob, and as us sailors say – we wish you fair winds and following seas.
I was lifelong friends with Leslea Todd his first wife and worked with Tyler Steel. Found out Kellie was Rob and Leslea’s daughter. I am so sorry to hear Rob passed. Sincere condolences to all his family.

Our deepest condolences, on your incredible loss of a special father, grandfather. We saw how Rob was loved by his family, loved how happy Kellie & her family would be when he would surprise them by coming to hockey & lacrosse tourneys. I always enjoyed talking to him at games. He will be truly missed by everyone. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
Rob was a Great Man and Friend. I’ve known Rob since the early 80’s as George and Lorraine’s Son-in-Law. They were boxer dog lovers and showed their dogs off at many of dog shows in Canada as well as the states. Rob was a fun loving guy. I will miss you my Friend 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Rob, you are now on a new journey and I know that somewhere along trip or at the end of it you will so some salmon fishing or play a round of golf. I send wishes that your next salmon is bigger than any previous and that your next drives be long, straight and land in the middle of the fairway. R.I.P. Rob
