PATTERSON, Marianne Gail

December 15, 1963 — March 3, 2020

Born on December 15, 1963, Marianne passed away peacefully on March 3, 2020. She is survived by her loving husband, Kent Patterson; her two sons Nathan (Katelyn) Williams and Ben Williams; and her grandchildren Angus, Isaac, Amelia, and Lochlan. She is also survived by her sisters Deb (Bill) Smeaton and Lori (Jim) Isaac, as well as her brother Dean (Natalie) Mercer. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Jean Mercer.

Marianne grew up in Grayburn, SK and attended Caronport Elementary & High School. Upon graduating High School in 1981, she enrolled at Robertson Business College in Saskatoon, SK. She excelled in her studies and was immediately hired as a clerk by City Hall.

In 1983, she married Scott Williams and together they raised their two sons. In 2003, she moved to Kelowna and began working for the RCMP.  In 2005, she married Kent Patterson. Marianne and Kent spent countless hours on the lake with friends and family. They loved to entertain and travel.

Marianne loved spending time with her boys and their families. The sparkle in her eye came from Angus, Isaac, Amelia, and Lochlan.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Springfield funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC, with Father Dean Mercer.
