Hilde and family,
My sincere condolences to the family for your loss. Herb was a special friend and we enjoyed table tennis for many years at his church, in Rutland and many other venues. Always enjoyed coffee and goodies often from Hilde after playing. Have this fond photo of Herb and I from 2009 after a win. Good memories of a very likeable guy who will be missed.

Even though Herb and Hilde only became my neighbours on March 22nd of this year it didn’t take long to
See what a lovely man he was. I can appreciate his love of gardening and how difficult it must have been for him not to be able to be out planting his tomatoes and new plants as well as tending his gardens.
He’ll be missed by many of the friends and associates he’s made over his years residing at the “Sandalwood”.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this hard times, Herb was a special Friend ,and we miss him a great deal , and Hildegard. Thank you for everything , Until We met again, George & Theresa Voros
We are saddened by the sudden passing of Herb. We have been friends for 70 years, beginning in Winnipeg at the German Baptist Mission Church. Herb was always great to be with. We played volleyball and golfed together. I appreciated his depth of character and the faith we shared. We pray for comfort for Hildie and his family. Herb will be greatly missed.
Mr. Pelzer was my homeroom and science teacher at KSS in mid 80’s. A bit hard nosed, expected an effort but a very nice man. RiP.
