Dear Don and Ross, our deepest sympathy in the loss of your mum and our favourite cousin Dot.
We are heartbroken to hear the news. Thoughts are with both of you at this time.
Uncle Buzz and Dawn.
I am so sorry to hear that Aunt Dorothy has passed away. She was a lovely lady and I will miss getting her letters. My thoughts and prayers go out to Donald, Ross and Wendy.
My Dearest Dorothy….. you’re one of the last few people who could claim you have known me my entire life!! You were such a special part of our family – from knowing Dad in Edmonton in the 40s, our transition from Calgary to Winfield in the 60s, your move to Winfield and then to Kelowna – births, deaths, marriages, divorces, Dad’s last awful marriage, birthdays and Christmas!!!! You were such a lady and full of laughter and music! We will all miss you dearly!!! I especially, thank you for letting me get to know you better and letting me share in your last years as you did! Ross – – – my sincerest condolences ! Tim Campbell – for Paul, Teresa and Duane.
We wish to send our condolences to Dorothy’s family at this sad time. We are the people who purchased her home in Sunrise Village and although we didn’t know her well she was a very kind and considerate person to deal with. Our thoughts are with you.
Dorothy was such a fantastic and dedicated volunteer at KGH for many many years. She was so inspirational and ensured all the people coming for exams, tests, being admitted (whatever) felt they had all the information they required and she made them feel as relaxed as possible. Following my retirement I had lunch with her occasionally and we always enjoyed the time together so much. And as a friend of Graham, I was so thrilled that they were together and did some travelling and just enjoyed each others company so very much. What a grand lady. Special blessings and thoughts and my deepest sympathy to you all. Sharon Leveque (Director of Volunteer Services at KGH for 25 years).
