My sympathies go out to you all. So hard saying goodbye even though you know she is at peace with Jesus and will be united again one day. Your Mom was such a sweet lady. I cherish the memories of our little chats over the last 35yrs. I will be away the weekend of her service, so sending you prayers and hugs to you all. Because He lives! Colleen Sandre
Our prayers and thought s are with your family. “Lydia” will always be remembered for her sweet smile and her joyful spirit…..we have fond memories of all the ‘stories” Jessica and Blair have told us of “Gramma Peters”….she is at peace now..
I had the honor and pleasure of taking care of Lydia (and John) during her time with us in Assisted Living. She was always trying to give us candies and treats, calling us “sweetheart and showing off the beautiful family photos…..
Her love for the Lord and those around her was undeniable. She was truly a treasure and will be missed.
My condolences to her loved ones. But much joy for having known her and knowing she is finally “home” where she has wanted most to be. Sincerely, Theresa Frie
Dear neighbours,
My wife and I feel great empathy for you and your families as we ourselves have lost a loved one recently.
We have found comfort in reflecting on how Jesus out of his great love performed resurrections in the past as recorded in the Bible. Indeed, he and Father have assured us that they will do so again in Revelation 21:4 which says “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away.”
May God grant you peace.
