Frank went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2017 at the age of 98. Survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Mary, daughter Lorraine, daughter-in-law Marian, sons Ed (Neta), Robert (Sherry), 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Frank is predeceased by infant son Kenneth and son Harry.
Frank was born in Osterwick, Ukraine, October 22, 1918 and was one of 12 children. His family moved to Canada in 1923 and settled in Southern Manitoba. Frank and Mary were married in 1941. He had various careers including farming, a car dealership, real estate and was an all-around handyman. In his retirement, they spent many winters travelling to the US as “Snowbirds”, and spent their summers fishing where they had an ongoing contest over who caught the biggest fish. Frank enjoyed gardening, spending time with his grandkids and could often be found working on projects in his shop.
Frank will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
