Alice passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 at the age of 83. Survived by her loving husband Bob of 56 years, daughter Lisa Stephens (Dave) of Victoria, BC, son Bob Petty (Jen) of Kelowna, BC, grandchildren Connor, Gareth, Travis, Jacob and Ava, sisters Gayle Guttormson (Randy) of Campbell River and Vera Marsden of High Level, AB and brothers Michael (Ollie) of Winfield, BC and Garry (Jacqueline) of OK Centre, BC.
Alice passed away peacefully with her husband and children by her side. Thank you to Kelowna General Hospital staff for their care and understanding. Also, a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Sun Pointe Village; they made a challenging situation much easier to bear. A private family Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday September 16, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC, www.alzheimer.ca/en/bc.

Karen and I were very sorry and sad to hear of the passing of Mrs. Petty. She was a terrific lady and always treated us like her own kids. We hope she is at peace and our thoughts are with you all. Everybody who knew her is a better person because of it. Take care of each other and remember all the good things.
