We Remember

PHEE, William “Bill”

1938 – 2022

The family sadly announces the passing of Bill on February 6, 2022, at the age of 83. Bill enjoyed a long, healthy life, but his health started to deteriorate a few years ago when he was diagnosed with a form of Dementia.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland on May 15, 1938, he was the second of six children. Bill served his country with military service in the British Army and pursued a career in the energy industry that took him and his family to many corners of the world.

Bill retired to Kelowna, BC in April 1998 and enjoyed Okanagan life to the fullest. He took great pleasure in his family, friends, grandchildren, and travel. Bill was an avid reader, was a Celtic soccer fan, loved to BBQ, and he knew something about everything; he also loved to play in the financial markets and developed a small import business from Venezuela.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret; children William and Paul; daughters-in-law Kris and Milka; grandchildren Lindsay, Kelsey, and Madison; brothers Hugh and Robert; sister Rosemarie; and many other family and friends.

Bill was predeceased by his parents Bill and Lena, and his sisters Chris and Anne.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Central Okanagan Hospice Association or Interior Health – Central Okanagan Hospice House.

A Memorial Service will be held on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2022, at 11:30 am (PST), at Corpus Christi Catholic Parish with Father Ron Dechant presiding, 750 Rutland Rd N, Kelowna, BC.
