POCHA, Robert (Bob)
April 21, 1950 — December 5, 2017
Bob passed away at his home on December 5, 2017 at the age of 67. Survived by his loving wife and best friend, Joyce; sons Kim (Anastasia) of Spring Lake, AB, Cory (Bryanna) of Parkland County, AB; grandchildren Jadyn, Hunter, Colton, Aurora, Bryce, Annabella; sister Gwen (Barrie) of Coaldale, AB; brother Zane of Prince Alberta, SK.
Bob was born on April 21, 1950 in Prince Albert, SK. He loved and treasured the time camping and fishing with his sons and grandchildren. Bob enjoyed travelling in the motorhome and going abroad to destinations across the world with his wife. He always enjoyed a good conversation with family, friends and neighbors.
A special thank you to Dr. D. Hamm, Dr. D. Wadhwa and Dr. D. Petrik who have provided such personalized and compassionate care to Robert.
Thank you also to the many staff members at the Cancer Center in Kelowna who provided professional and caring support, and also to the Palliative Care nurses and care aides for their support.
As requested by Bob, a private family service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Cancer Foundation – Southern Interior, 399 Royal Ave., V1Y 5L3.

My dear friend Joyce and family. My heartfelt condolences to you all. Bob was a vibrant soul with an infectious laugh. He was so positive and strong throughout his battle with cancer. He was a true inspiration to me on how to stay strong in the midst of crisis and hard times. Today and always may you find comfort in all of your fond loving memories of Bob. Love Laurie Ann
