We Remember

POLLEY, Marjorie “Marnie” Bernice
September 22, 1948 — March 3, 2023
Marnie was born September 22, 1948, in Vancouver, BC, and passed on March 3, 2023, in Kelowna, BC, at the age of 74. Marnie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Stewart; her 2 children, Gregory and Sandra; her 2 grandchildren Theresa Schwab and Emily Polley; as well as her 2 brothers Cliff and Bill Ramsay of the Lower Mainland.
Stewart and Marnie began their life together in Delta, BC in 1971 where they purchased their first home and had their two children. They moved to Kelowna in the summer of 1983 and remained there ever since.
Marnie enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of her time camping, fishing, golfing at Princeton Golf Course, and gardening. Her green thumb was very evident with her large quantities of produce each year and beautiful flowers.
One of her other passions was quilting with her lovely quilting group in West Kelowna. She was so excited about new projects she was starting and took pride in her finished products.
Marnie had a for passion people. Her positive and loving energy could be felt whenever in her presence. Marnie would always welcome anyone to her home and would make you instantly feel like family. Her laugh was contagious and would be heard often which would bring a smile to anyone’s face.
She will be greatly missed but will live on in our wonderful, heartwarming memories.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
