Our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed on peacefully joining her husband Edward John Poncsak in her 81st year on October 14th, 2013. She loved her children and everyone else’s. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and playing the organ. Her kindness, humour and smile will be missed by all who knew her. A special thanks to those who loved and cared for her at Sun Pointe Village. A private family service was held on October 17, 2013 at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery in Kelowna, BC. I had the honor of assisting Bertha while I was teaching at Okanagan College with the RCA program. Bertha was always a delight to be with, she had a great sense of humor, I loved her stories and she was so sweet. My condolences to her family.
Dear Diana, Dana and family, It was so nice to visit Bertha for many years when she was in the care homes. She was a loving and caring person. I enjoyed our time together and we had many great visits and laughs. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. I will miss her very much butI will have my many fold memories of Bertha.
I am saddened too. Bertha was
always so kind and helpful. I have wonderful memories and she loved playing piano and I remember her stories. You were blessed.
All my good wishes and sympathy
to all the family. Betty
