I’m very sad to hear of Fred’s passing. I have fond memories of him teaching me to drive logging truck as well as the many other times that I was fortunate enough to enjoy his company. My condolences to the Popp family.
Norma, I’m sorry to ‘ring in’ at this late date, but I only just found out, living in Port Coquitlam, I’m out of the loop these days. My childhood memories of you and Fred were always big smiles, loving hugs, and just all around great people. I feel like I ‘grew up’ around Fred – he was one of the boys sitting around the kitchen table most Saturday mornings at mom & dad’s house. Dad always had a lot of respect for Fred and true friendship. You have always been two of my favourite people from ‘the old days’. Fred will be missed; big hugs to you and your family. All the best, always ~
