Betty An Potter was born on September 11, 1933 in Lintlaw, Saskatchewan and passed into heaven on January 29, 2020 in Kelowna, British Columbia. Betty An was the eldest of five children to Horace and Catherine Harvey.
She is survived by her daughters Aloria (Darwin), Valerie, Dianna (Laurie), Mary Ann (David), and Dorothy; and her twelve grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren. We would like to thank Lisa, her granddaughter, for all you have done for mom. You are an angel.
Mom’s life journey opened the door for her to make friends with all people she met. She was a Girl Guide leader and later joined the local Trefoil chapter of other retired leaders, she was also a member of the Elk’s Lodge in Kelowna. For the past 10 years, Betty had become a hair model for the local beauty school helping the young beauticians graduate with the practical experience.
We would like to thank Dr. Michael Purdon for his excellent care of Mom over the years. Also, a special thank-you to the doctors and nurses of KGH 4 West for their care of Mom the past month.
