Passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the age of 79. Survived by his loving wife Margaret of 52 years; two sons: John and Hal of Alberta; eight grandchildren: Brad, Jeff, Stephen, Adrienne, Alix, Sam, Robin and Jolan; six great grandchildren: Jaden, Avery, Cohen, Gryphon, Alex and Gabrielle. Ray worked for CN for 36 years as a Train Man. He will be sadly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 31st at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3.
