  • Dan Prichard says:

Grandma Rae was a kind and strong woman who loved her family and always put them first. I know life wasn’t easy back on the farm but my dad always told me how Grandma made their house a home. Just feeding everyone was a full time job but she did it well and always had time to bake goodies for the family. In fact one of my fondest memories of her is when she taught me how to make her famous apple pie. I will always remember her home smelling like a bakery. Thank you grandma for the memories and the apple pies. Still to this day whenever I smell apple pie I think of you.

  • Taylor Prichard says:

We will certainly remember Grandma as an enthusiastic woman who was eager to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Grandma was a family first woman who raised a great group of Prichard children (including my dad, Doug) as well as our beloved aunts and uncles. We will especially remember summer time visits to Kelowna during our youth. We were fortunate to see Grandma back in October during Grandpa’s 90th birthday celebration. Grandma was so excited to see us and to be surrounded by the extended family including many of her grandchildren. She will certainly be missed but I know she lived a long and meaningful life. With a renewed abundance of energy, Grandma will probably be leading painting classes as well as song and dance lessons in heaven. Grandma will live on in memory and spirit for many years to come. We will miss her.
    Love,
Winston Prichard and Taylor Prichard (grandsons)

  • Jim and Leslie Stanton says:

The first time I met Aunt Rae was on my first trip out west with Aunt Ruth, Albert & Diane. She welcomed me with great western hospitality a beautiful smile and made me feel right at home! I remember the 1st time I saw a platter of fried eggs and another with bacon for breakfast on the farm, something a kid from a small family and from the city had never seen. Aunt Rae had a great sense of humour and was fun to be with! We have wonderful memories of you Aunt Rae and we will miss you!

  • Beryl Bevington Jacobson says:

I feel sad to know that Auntie Rae has passed away but glad that I have such happy childhood memories of staying with her at the farm at Midnapore. I remember visiting with her as we prepared meals and how she treated me as an adult sharing her ideas and life lessons. I loved learning to cook from her and made that love my life long career. Since moving to Colorado, spending time with her became more difficult. I send my best to my cousins Russ, Doug, Bonnie, Cheryl and Greg and their families.

  • Marilyn (Stanton) McAllister says:
