Passed peacefully on 3 January 2013 in Kelowna, BC. Born 28 January 1922 in Saint John, NB. Beloved wife of the late Barrett A. C. Prudhomme. Loving mother of Michael (Lois), Charlotte, James (Lyse Tremblay), Stephen, and Mary Cresswell (Dan). Dearest grandmother of Julie, Amanda, Marc, Danielle and Cherie; great-grandmother of Michael, Austin and Jackson. Predeceased by her parents Duncan and Bertha Campbell, her sisters Audrey Wilson, Connie Starr, Bert Watt and brother Chet, all of New Brunswick. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews across Canada and the US. Adventurous at heart, Jane served with the RCAF for 4 years and was in London at British Air Defense Command in 1943 and 44. She raised her family in Europe, the US and Canada, retiring finally to the Okanagan in 1985. A lover of all animals, she leaves her precious Heidi to be raised among the tribe of Mary’s golden doodles. Special thanks to the staff of Hawthorn Park’s Orchard Manor for their loving care and attention. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation Canada. A family memorial service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Church, Cantley, QC. Reception to follow at private residence in Chelsea. Our sincere condolences to all of you from Jeff, Margaret,Michael and Melanie Starr on the passing of “Auntie Jane” as we affectionately called her. Although we had not seen Auntie Jane since 1990 we will deeply miss her.

Thank you.We extend an invitation to join us at the memorial on September 28th at 11:00.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Cantley, Quebec and to enjoy a celebration reception afterwards at a private residence in Chelsea. Directions will be provided at the service. A note to Vickie Classen Iles – I believe your mother attended our father’s service at the same church and residence in September of 1995. It would be a pleasure to have your family attend this time if possible.
