We wish to extend our heart felt condolences to Laurey’s family and our thoughts and payers will be with you at this difficult time. May the Lord guide you through your loss.
My deepest sympathy is extended to Ross, Sandy and family in the loss of a mother and grandmother. I have many wonderful memories of Laurie. She was gifted-a woman with many talents. She was very active in the church we both attended. It seems she was too young to die but her faith in Jesus and Eternal life must make us realize that she is in a wonderful place- free of pain and at peace.I am so glad to have known her.
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. 2nd Thess. 3:16
I met Laurie when we both lived in the same apartment in south Edmonton in the mid ’90’s. I am so sad to hear of her passing as she was truly a beautiful, caring person in everyway. I have vivid memories of her brilliant smile, and empathetic nature. One of the many things that stands out to me is Laurie constantly mentioning how much she loved her sons (except washing their dirty socks-funny the things we remember). Surely if anyone belongs in the Kingdom of Heaven is it Laurie. My own Mother passed away 5 years ago and it has been a real struggle. My hope is you have faith, family, and friends to help & guide you through the long road ahead. Laurie was such a kind, gentle soul and I am shocked to hear of her passing, much too young with so much more to give. I will never forget her and how she helped me always search for the good in others.
