Marika was a dear friend to me while she resided in Lethbridge….she moved to Kelowna with her husband to retire in the place she loved. We had many good times together while she golfed at our golf course in Picture Butte, Alberta. My condolences to her family.

I did not know you for a long time Marika, but soon realized how much pain etc. you experienced. Vic, your care and that of both Marika’s & your families was obviously a great comfort as all of you coped with the situation. Marika, may you rest in the Peace and Joy of Eternity. You and your loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless all of you.

Our deepest condolences to Diane, Tom, Rob and families on the very sad passing of our long-time good friend, Marika! Although we hadn’t seen each other for awhile, we did keep in touch through Christmas card exchanges. We even had the opportunity to talk on the phone a year ago or so, as we inquired with her as to her medical situation. Again, we are deeply saddened to hear of her passing. Marika was such an elegant and caring lady who we had the pleasure of knowing so well for many many years. We greatly appreciated our close friendship when we were all together in Lethbridge! She has left us far too soon. May God’s comforting mercy bless you all during this difficult time.
