Condolences

  • Arnold L.Rivera says:

I’d like to pass on my condolences to Neil’s family of the passing of their beloved father and grandfather.
Neil was one of my supervisor/managers are IPL/Enbridge in the Engineering Projects group (Electrical). He was a very good manager and excellent mentor. He made work enjoyable for all of us despite the heavy demands on our time and effort that the company expected from its engineers and other technical personnel. Neil is one of the rare managers that people would gladly walk the extra mile just to get the job done with the best possible results for all. He will surely be missed by all who knew him and considered him no just as a boss or supervisor but also a genuine friend.

    Arnold L. Rivera, P.Eng.

  • Larry Smerechinski says:

My thoughts and prayers are with Hilda and Neil’s family. I worked with Neil for a number of years and found him to be professional, courtesy and exceptional human being who will be missed by all of those who have had the pleasure of knowing him.

  • Edie (Bates) Richard says:

My heart goes out to Hilda and Neil’s family at this time. Neil was a compassionate and kind leader that was a hard worker, but readily cracked jokes to keep things fun and enjoyable. He was a big influence on my life given he was the one that hired me at IPL/Enbridge. He will be missed, but certainly not forgotten.

  • Phil and Sharon Flemming says:

Tim and Mandy, Phil and I would like to express our sincere condolences for the passing of your Dad. It’s not easy losing a parent especially as you also lost your Mom a few years ago. We remember so fondly your parents at the lake, and yes we still have our cabin and spend many weekends with Ryan and Kevin and grandkids. Jenn is in Red Deer with her family. Your folks were so gracious and kind. I remember Mandy and Jenn’s incident with the canoe and Phil and your Dad having to rescue them. I remember Mandy counting the bats coming out of your roof. I remember your Mom bringing over articles about health whenever she found something she thought might be of interest. We truly miss them as neighbours. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
