Our sympathy to Lisa & family. Mrs Redding will always be remembered for her laughter & kindness (especially to a bunch of noisy teenagers). She kept a lovely home, which I remember many happy visits with my friend Lea. So sorry to hear of your loss. Love always, Cheryl, Dan & family xo
Rest in Peace Pat.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It been 30+ years since I last saw my aunt Dee dee and I have never met my cousins yet my heart goes out to you, to my mom and my aunts/uncle for your loss. She is likely painting landscapes unimaginable to us and with those waiting for her there.
Dee Dee/Aunt Pat,
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the rain fall soft upon your fields
And the sun shine warm upon your face
Until we meet again
Dee Dee/Aunt Pat,
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the rain fall soft upon your fields
And the sun shine warm upon your face
Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand
Love Francie & Family
I had the opportunity to meet Pat while I worked at DLJ many years ago. What a lovely kind lady.
My heart goes out to you Lisa, it has been so many years ago, that I last saw your mom,but how I remember it was like yesterday, You were so little, and such a beautiful girl dressed to the nines ( with the lovely outfits) your mom made with her loving hands and warm heart. Marie and I brought Lea, out to”Birch Grove” and we went to the pond ice skating, and had a bon-fire afterwards with our friends. The tell tale sign of the soot was hiding under her bangs. Both you and Lisa were her pride and joy, and how proud she was of both of you. Your mom will always be Dee Dee.. Rest in peace aunt Dee Dee, you are in God’s loving arms now,as you are watching down on Lisa, & all your grand children. “May the sun always shine on your face, and the wind on your back, as you walk threw God’s Garden. She will always be remembered, and never forgotten. I see so much of my own mom, in your mom Lisa, there is no mistake they are sisters. They are beautiful.
Hugs,
Mary Lou
Here is one of the many paintings that my mom did while at DLJ… She loved her art classes!
My deepest sympathy to the family. I have been a cook at DLJ for 7 years now and Pat has always been my little sweetheart. I will miss my morning hello and often pinch on my bum from this wonderful sweet lady. I was always so happy when I was going to receive my lobsters (number depending on if I was good that day) 🙂 I just want you to know that Pat was so loved by so many people. I will miss her forever and treasure the wonderful painting I have of hers. Rest in peace Pat, I love you.
We will be having a graveside service at Mountain View Cemetary in Rossland on Sunday, May 5th at 1:00 PM.. We will be burying her with my sister Lea and my dad..
