I was so sad to hear that Auntie Myrt had passed away. She was a sweet, kind, generous lady, and my siblings and I just loved her, and Uncle Art. Joe’s and my sons enjoyed meeting Auntie Myrt on several occasions, both at our home outside Westlock, AB and at her apartment in Kelowna on two occasions. The attached pictures are from one of those visits. Auntie Myrt dearly loved her husband, Art, my Dad’s oldest brother; she was so sad to lose him. It is wonderful to think of them being together again. Rest in peace, Auntie Myrt.
Love from Pam, Joe, Aden, Liam & Kieran Murphy.
Another lovely picture of Auntie Myrt
And another picture of Auntie Myrt and her flowers!
On behalf of Dianne (neice of Arthur Reeves) and David Warf and Carolyn (great neice of Arthur Reeves) and Mark, Cameron and Nicole Bell of Calgary we would like to extend our condolences to Bertha and Robert and family. Auntie Myrtle was a very generous and loving person. Everyone who came into contact with her was a better person for having known her. We have many fond memories of visiting Auntie Myrtle and Uncle Art in Edmonton. In later years, we enjoyed visiting with Auntie Myrtle in Kelowna. She will be missed and always remembered by those who loved her.
So sad to hear that Auntie Myrt passed away. She was such a sweet, thoughtful, lovely person who we (Cecil Reeves’ family) loved very much. My condolences to all of the family.
I spoke with Gerry Bablitz today and heard of Myrtle’s passing. I remember Myrtle dearly and will pass the information onto my brother Michael as well. (We are Aileen (Barnes’s) Garvey’s sons)
