We Remember
REYNOLDS, Kenneth Robert
October 17, 1940 — October 22, 2026
Born on October 17, 1940, Ken Reynolds passed away on October 22, 2026, in Kelowna, BC, at the age of 86.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Margaret; children Denise, Kim, Sheri, and Cory; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Vincent, and daughter-in-law, Kelly. He was predeceased by his parents, Edna and Pete Reynolds.
Kenneth Robert Reynolds was born in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, and raised in southern Alberta, in the Brooks area. In 1971, he moved to Kelowna, British Columbia, where he would spend the rest of his life.
A mechanic by trade, Ken helped build the Southeast Kelowna irrigation system and worked in local garages before finding employment at Brenda Mines, where he stayed until the mine closed in 1990. He then travelled throughout Canada and around the world installing mining equipment until his first retirement.
Retirement didn’t slow him down for long. He took a part-time job moving RV trailers, which turned into full-time work, and later eased back to working here and there, just for something to do. He was the type of person who was always doing something – working on vehicles, household repairs, anything that needed doing – a true jack-of-all-trades.
He loved going across the street to do things with his buddy Raymond, going for coffee with his late brother-in-law Eric, and going to the coast to visit Denise and spend time with Vincent.
He was truly loved by many people and will be greatly missed.
