We Remember

November 27, 1930 — December 5, 2013

Annie, Granny, Oyama Gramma, Gramma Bo or Grams. With many names, Doreen Roberts was known best for her big heart. On December 5, 2013, Doreen left this world and was met by her late children Darrell and Lisa Roberts. She is survived by her sons Guy (Shannon) of Sorrento, Bryan (Clara) of Bowden, Todd (Wanda) of Oyama and her grandchildren Ryan, Devon, Tiffany, Avalon, Meagan, Lauren and Lucas, her brother Gerry Campbell, sister Terry Threadkell (Grant, Jessica, Kieth).

Doreen always had an open door and a warm plate for all of her friends and anyone with time to sit and enjoy her patio with her. Doreen very much enjoyed her line & square dancing and all the good friends she met along the way. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. A Celebration of life was held at Gramma’s home Saturday December 7, 2013

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond’s glint on snow.

I am the sunlight on rippled grain.

I am the gentle autumn’s rain.

When you awaken in the morning hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush,

Of birds in quiet circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand by my grave and cry

I am not there, I did not die.
