ROBERTSON, Florence Elizabeth (nee Watson)

Passed away peacefully on September 10, 2016 at the age of 94. She is survived by her family: daughters Barbara (Glenn), Brenda (Terry), Bonnie (Mark); seven grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister Heather (Sterling); sister-in-law Trudy.  Predeceased by her husband Gordon Colin and her brother Kenneth Watson.  She was much loved.  No service by request.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 250 Dundas Street West, Suite 500, Toronto, ON M5T2Z5.   If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”

    Mission Villas has lost one of it’s brightest lights. Florence will be remembered for her humor, her bright smile and gracious ways. It was always a pleasure to find Florence in the Dining Room and share a smile or joke with her. The humour was there to the very end and we will most certainly miss it.

    Please accept our sincere sympathy on the loss of your mother. It was a pleasure to know such a true lady. Often, after she moved to Kelowna, your Mom would stop at the gallery for a wee visit. We always enjoyed those times.
