We Remember
ROBERTSON, Sharon Christine
November 15, 1944 — September 1, 2026
We are deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of Sharon C. Robertson. She was a greatly loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her family was by her side holding her hands as she passed so she knew she was not alone. Unfortunately there was no time for all who knew and loved her to visit, but she was thinking of everyone to the end.
Sharon was a great mom, doing lots with her kids, baking fancy cakes for school, taking them to every activity they wanted and even pitching in as a soccer coach for her son. She was also there for her granddaughters whenever they needed: from an ear to listen, a place to have tea, or a ride to the airport.
Sharon grew up in Richmond B.C, where she met her first husband Bob and her children were born. She was also the Salmon Queen in her teens. Her beauty and inner heart showed through always. She greatly loved her younger sister Judy and missed her after she passed too soon in her early 30s.
Sharon and Garry loved to travel: Cruising, Cuba, and their favourite — Mexico, often with friends Don, Val, Del, and Pat. She had many adventures in her life and had been looking forward to another Mexico trip but it was not to be.
Sharon is lovingly survived by her children, Tracey (Jim) Jensen, Richard (Debbie) Laidlaw; stepson Chris (Mallory) Robertson; grandchildren Kristy (Chris) Baxter, Amanda and Melanie Jensen, Taylor Laidlaw, and Seth and Norah Robertson; great-grandchildren Ruby, Rozlyn, and Juniper Baxter.
She now goes to join those who passed before her, including her beloved husband, Garry Robertson; parents Anna and Harry Martin; and sister, Judy MacDonald.
We will miss her greatly and have an ache in our hearts.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at KGH who were so helpful for her time there. And special thanks to Kim T. for trying so hard to help her feel less pain and more at ease.

Don knew Sharon since the age of 7 as they were neighbours.. Over the years we were able to share the births of our children and her marriages to Bob and the Garry. We had wonderful holidays over these many years with them and stayed in touch with Rick and Tracey. So many memories we did share and will forever treasure. We are so sad for her family and will be thinking of them fondly during this most difficult time. Bless you all.
