We Remember

ROBINSON, Leona

August 25, 1929 — April 14, 2020

Leona Robinson, long time resident of Peachland and West Kelowna passed away on April 14, 2020 at the age of 90.  She had been battling cancer for the past few years.  Leona was a loving and devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1929 to Emil and Augusta Miller.

Her passions were gardening and family. She loved to spend time playing cards with family and friends. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing and listening to her favourite music.

She cherished the time she spent with her grand-children and great-grandchildren who referred to her fondly as GG.

Leona is survived by her sisters; Alice Magee and Violet Andersen.; sister-in law; Shirley Miller. Her children; Richard Robinson, Peggy (Gary) Higson, Susan (Ian) Strachan, her stepson Keith (Darlene) Inglehart. Her grandchildren; Kayleigh (Orion) Cummins, Kelsey (Jess) Strachan, Jason Higson and great grandchildren; Lyra and Oliver Cummins and many nieces and nephews.

Leona was predeceased by her parents Emil and Augusta (Ziebarth) Miller, her husband of 49 years Elvin Robinson, her husband of 7 years Kenneth Inglehart, her brothers Norman Miller and Gordon Miller, her brothers in-law Gerald Magee, Bud Andersen, Orville Robinson, Howard Stewart, Roy Freeman and Leslie Gordon.  Her Sisters in-law; Jeanette Miller, Ardith Stewart, Mildred Robinson and Marnie Freeman. Nephews Howard Robinson and Kevin Freeman.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends but will be forever in our hearts.

Memorial to be held at a later date. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the KGH foundation to support Hospice House, www.kghfoundation.com
