We Remember

ROBISON, Elaine Juliette

August 15, 1968 — December 10, 2023

Elaine Robison peacefully passed away on December 10, 2023. Elaine was surrounded by her closest friends, and family at the time. She has gone to join her father, Nick Orlesky, who passed in 2016.

Elaine will continue to be held dear in the hearts of her family: her beloved husband of 17 years, Allan; her daughter Natasha; as well as her mother & stepfather, Julie & George Orlesky; her mother-in-law, Marnie (Dave) Boulter; her father-in-law, Larry (Verra) Robison; her two brothers, Darrell (Mel) Orlesky, and Doug Orlesky; her two brothers-in-law Daniel Robison (James Wu) and Terry (Leah) Robison. She will also be remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, and all her extended family, as well as by her many dear friends. Elaine also leaves behind her beloved fur babies Chico, Cooper, and Jake.

Elaine, at the age of only 55, lived a life that radiated resilience and optimism. She embodied strength, she was a fighter whose unwavering determination never waned, always carrying hope in her heart. Her affection for animals was a key part of who she was, particularly the furry friends she cared for in her the Doggy Daycare she once lovingly operated.

But beyond her resilience, Elaine’s buoyant nature shone through her love for laughter and joy. Fun-loving and armed with a passion for making jokes, she brightened every room she entered. Her spirit was as playful as it was determined, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She will be missed dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on THURSDAY, DECEMBER, 21, 2023, at 1:00 PM (PST), at SPRINGFIELD FUNERAL HOME, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. If you are unable to attend in person, please join the family online by Livestream at the time of the service (see below), a recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter.
