It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dennis on November 9, 2015 at the age of 55. Survived by his loving wife Kathy, mother Rose and mother-in-law Pat, his son Caleb, daughter Jaclyn (Ryan), Lori (Nathan), son Jonathan (Nikki); grandchildren Daymek, Ivy, Linken, Penelope, Katarina; sister Elaine (Darryl) Frasier, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his father Ernest (2002), brothers Ken (2010), Clifford (1991) and his sister Shirley (1952). Dennis fought long and hard with great determination to win the battle with cancer, however, cancer won in the end. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Rodney Joshua, who was amazing throughout this process. A memorial service will be held on November 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3. Christine and I were very sorry to hear about Dennis. I hope you and your family are coping okay.
We really enjoyed the times we talked with Dennis at the market. He was always so full of life. We admired the dedication he had to the market and for standing up for what he felt was right. He will certainly be missed.

He always had a smile that just kept smiling and a heart that just kept giving! Cant thank him enough for the most wonderful breaky we had most sat or the smokies as well as the stories ! My condolences to your family with Dennis’ passing. I worked with him at Calona Wines and Mission Hill Winery many years ago. We had lots of good laughs back then. He will be missed very much at the corner of Springfield and Dilworth on market days. Always had time to say hello Mr. Peterson ! Made me feel old( kidding) …RIP Dennis
