We Remember

ROLLHEISER, Jonny Marie

September 8, 1941 — June 21, 2026

It is with great love and sadness that we announce the loss of Marie Rollheiser, who passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2026, at the age of 84, in Kelowna, BC.

Marie was the loving wife of Edward Rollheiser for 62 years; a devoted mother to Sheri Ganguin, Sandra (Andrew) Ellert, Suzanne Rollheiser, and Stephanie (Troy) Sherris; a cherished grandmother to Daveigh Ganguin, Robyn Ganguin (Drew), Rachelle Ganguin, Austin Dutt, and Riley Dutt; and a proud great-grandmother to April Von Bieker. She will also be dearly missed by her brothers, Gary (Laurie) Myres and Larry (Linda) Myres.

She has been reunited with the faithful departed: her father, Alfred Kvilhaugsvik; parents, Lars and Klara Myres; sister, Solveig Ardiel; and son-in-law Steven Ganguin.

Marie treasured her family above all else, and they were the greatest joy of her life. She was generous to all and loved caring for those around her and found happiness in keeping busy. A woman of many self-taught talents, she enjoyed baking, canning, knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, and tackling a good crossword puzzle. She had a remarkable green thumb, taking great pride in growing beautiful flowers and thriving vegetable gardens. Marie also loved to travel, creating treasured memories with her family through motorhome adventures, flights, and cruises. She was known for her thriftiness, always appreciating a good bargain, and for her willingness to generously share her time, talents, and love with others.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the BC Cancer Foundation.

Funeral Mass will be held at a later date. Details to be announced.
