ROSCO, Sonja

Thinking of you and sending sincere condolences to Bob and the family. We were very fortunate to be next door neighbours to the Rosco’s when we lived in Cranbrook. Sonja was a great neighbour and friend. May the wonderful memories of Sonja bring you comfort during this difficult time and she rest in peace. In love and friendship Bob and Maureen

Sonja was an extraordinary woman, wife, mother and grandmother who loved and supported every member of her family and cherished her friends. Sonja deeply touched my life and I was proud to be her daughter in law for over 2 decades. Throughout that time, she helped Steve and I care for our son, Jackson, spent many hours with him when he was sick, and had a special way of making him laugh even when he was grumpy. We spent our holiday times together, and she loved coming for dinner at our house and always teased Bob about liking my perogies. Steve and Bob, I am so sorry for your incredible loss, and I send my deepest condolences, love and support in this time of grief. Jackson was pleased when Grandma was moved to hospice and said, “She was such a good person, Mom. She deserves to be in a quiet and beautiful place as she leaves this world. Only the best for her, Mom. I’m going to miss her so much and I was so lucky to have her as my Grandma.” Thank you, Sonja, for touching our lives with your love and devotion. May you rest peacefully now.
We were so sad to hear of Sonja passing. We were good friends and card
playing buddies back in the 70 and 80 s, back in Cranbrook days.

Sonja will be missed by many old friends and family.
Our sincere condolences to you Bob and your family from your Wedgewood neighbours, Philip and Beverley Broten.
