I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. My mother and my sister, Mary ran into Luigi in the Kelowna airport a few years ago and they had a wonderful visit. I was happy to hear about his work and life. Luigi is in my childhood memories as a great schoolmate (we were always competing for high grades) and as a great friend. I always knew he would go far in his chosen field and have heard nothing but wonderful things from mutual friends that were lucky enough to see him again. You are all in my heart and prayers. May God comfort you through this very sad time. With love Patti Goodacre Marko
Sending my deepest sympathies, I have such fond memories of Luigi, without his help I never would have made it through high school. Years later I contacted Luigi when my father was so sick and he gave me words of positve encouragement that I so appreciated. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. So sad to lose a son, I sure am saddened to hear of my friends passing
sorry to read of your loss. regards to the whole rossi family
I am so sorry to learn of Luigi’s passing. He was such a kind and gentle person. I have not seen Luigi for many years but occasionally heard about how well he doing. Luigi and I were school mates from grade 1 onward. Growing up in a small town meant you knew your classmates so I always knew he would do well in his chosen career as he was alway a dedicated student. My deepest condolences and prayers to his family .
So sorry to hear of Luigi’s death. We are sad that he has left this world. I always remember when we were kids in Smithers, we would come visiting and when we played how he would get so excited and jump up and down with a happy smile. Sending condolences, love and prayers to Comare Alba and Compare Carmine and David with his family from Tony and Julie Sia.
The news of the death of Luigi left both of us “shocked”. We thought he’s too young to leave this earth. We can only imagine the pain that comare Alba and compare Carmine, together with Davide & family are going through. May the Good Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary give you the strength and resignation to go on. Francesco & Anna Maria Darini.
I worked for many years at the QEII in Grande Prairie as a Laboratory Technologist. During my time in Histology I often crossed paths with the Radiologists and Dr. Rossi was always thoughtful, kind and easy to work beside. I always felt he treated me like a true colleague. His medical expertise helped so many people in our region and now he himself is gone, way to young. I will think of him fondly and to his family – please know he will be missed!
My wife and I would like to extend our deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved son, brother, uncle and cousin Luigi. I will miss my colleague with whom I had many deep discussions about life and who showed me some new and interesting perspectives on it. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My sincere condolences to all of Dr Rossi’s family.I worked with him in Grande Prairie for many years and am saddened by his passing. We always had a laugh about some of his stories about growing up in Smithers and when he asked our opinion on his latest art piece. He was a good man and will be missed by many people.
Both Glen and I are deeply saddened to hear of Luigi’s passing – far too young and we know he still had so much to contribute to his family and community. Luigi was a key friend of ours through high school and particularly to me during the first 2 years we shared at UBC . I will always remember his wry sense of humor – and – at the time – his love of everything “Cher”. I had a tiny little TV in my dorm room and he used to come over and watch the Sonny and Cher show all the time. Our deepest condolences to the whole family – our thoughts are with you.
I am so sorry to hear of Luigi’s passing! I have some fond memories of Luigi when we were kids in Smithers. My deepest sympathies go out to Rossi family. May God give you the peace that you seek!
Dear Carmine and Alba,
I just read of the passing of Luigi in The Interior News (Smithers). Please accept our deepest condolences in his passing. My wife Audrey and I have many good memories of your family including Luigi. I remember I first met you, Carmine, in 1951 when we both lived in Barrett and you worked for CN. May God comfort and strengthen you all in this painful loss.

I am saddened to hear of Luigis passing. We were great friends growing up in Smithers and fortunately none of my bad habits rubbed off on him. He was incredibly intelligent and focused and accomplished so much. I just wish that I could have seen more of him over the years. Sincere condolences to his family.
