We Remember

ROTH, Balthazar

Long-time Kelowna resident, Balthazar Joseph Roth, passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2014 at the age of 92.  Balser was a well-known sawmill builder and owner in the Merritt, Smithers and Lower Post areas, as well as a truck driver on the Alaska Highway for several years. Balser and his wife Katherine (predeceased) also built and owned the Roth Towers Apartments on Pandosy Street.

Balser is father to Neal Roth (predeceased), Cindy Roth (Kevin Berry), Angie (Rob) McIntosh, Glen (Heidi) Roth; grandfather to Jonathan and Kerstin Roth (Adam Gray), Sean and Cole Berry, Kelsey and Kieran McIntosh and Julia and Karly Roth; great grandfather to Ever and Isla Gray.

Prayers will be recited Friday, March 14th at 7:00 pm and the Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 15th at 10:30 am, both at Immaculate Conception Church, 839 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC, followed by interment in Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.  If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”
