RUETTNAUER, Dan

Dan, age 58, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on November 3, 2019. He leaves behind his son Garrett Scott (Jess Allen) and brother James Ruettnauer.

Dan was active in the community and owned a magazine called Neighbours on the Upper Mission.

    Dan and I belonged to the same business refferal group. I did not know him well, but he always went out of his way to help me whenever he could. I thought he was very sincere and caring and he really seemed to wear his heart in his sleeve. I’m so sad to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family

    My condolences to Dan’s family and son Garret. As a fellow publisher with BVM in Kelowna, Dan and I became good friends and confidants. We enjoyed each other’s company and met for coffee or drinks on a regular basis. Dan’s dry wit and sense of humour always kept me on my toes (he was a bit of a prankster) but was appreciated and always reciprocated. Dan was a great guy and I will miss him very much. Here’s to you Dan, I hope you are in a better place. Your friend, Kirk.
