Lucille Sader went peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour on December 4, 2023 (92 years) at Mountain View Village, Kelowna BC.
Lucille leaves to mourn her passing, 4 children, Dallas (Debra), VerLynn Eliason (Barry), Dean (Patti), Douglas (Chris); grandchildren Daneé Sader, Keith Eliason (Jasmine Kennelly), Scott Eliason (Sabrina), Drew Sader (Alexandra Spicer), Jonathan Sader, James Sader, Jillian Sader, MacKayla Naude (Juanre), Mallory Sader, Mathison Sader; and 4 great-grandchildren William Eliason, Emma Eliason, Lexie Kennelly, Isla Sader; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lucille, daughter of Karl and Karoline (nee Fandrich) Guze was born on January 26, 1931, in Poland. Following the death of her father the family emigrated from Poland to Onoway, AB in 1938. Her mother died in 1946 and Lucille moved to Edmonton the following year. While attending Northwest Bible College in Edmonton she met the love of her life, Arthur Sader, and they were married June 13, 1953. Mom provided support as Dad pastored churches in Viking, Ponoka, and Drayton Valley. In 1964 they moved to Edmonton with their now 3 children. Mom was a wonderful homemaker who loved to entertain and made the very best cinnamon buns. She was a kind and caring person with a special place in her heart for children and the underprivileged. Throughout the years Dad and Mom and family spent many happy times at their cabin at Sylvan Lake, AB. In 1991 they relocated to Kelowna to enjoy their retirement and to be closer to their children and grandchildren. They were married for 59 years until Dad’s passing in September 2012.
Lucille was predeceased by her parents Karl and Karoline Guze; her husband Arthur; and her brothers and sisters Ewald Guze, Emily Hildebrandt, Ella Friedenberg, Arthur Guze, Ida Foht, Oswald Guze, and Anne Frohlich.
Thank you to the staff at Mission Creek Landing and most recently at Mountain View Village for the excellent care she received.

Aunty Lucy was the kindest, gentlest person I knew. She was always happy and smiling and a joy to be around. She is going to be missed but I’m happy she’s once again with Uncle Art. My condolences to the family.
To the Saders family, we are so sorry for your loss. Both Your mom and dad were such an amazing family, especially their kindness toward new immigrants and the new faces they come across. We are really going to miss her and will pray for you. God’s strength and peace to you all.
Regards, the Bulchas family.
What a privilege to know Lucille and experience her kind, gentle and generous heart. Our heart-felt love to all of the family.
Lucille was always such a joy to be around and always showed her kind heart to everyone. She was one of my residents that I cared for at Mission Creek Landing before she moved to Mountain View. May she rest in peace and have the memories of her held closely to the hearts that loved her.
My sincerest condolences,
Andrea Driscoll
Condolences to our Sader cousins and the extended family. Aunt Lucy was a kind, gentle, loving soul. My Dad (Ewald Guze) also always spoke lovingly of his beloved young sister. It was such a treat and so much fun when Uncle Arthur and Auntie Lucy came to visit us in Surrey BC. She will be missed. 💔
