SALMOND, Joseph Loren

September 11, 1987 — January 4, 2024

Joseph Loren Salmond was born September 11, 1987, in Powell River, BC. He spent his life between the Lower Mainland, BC, Edmonton and Grande Prairie, AB, and finally resided in Kelowna, BC.

If ever asked, Joe would say his greatest accomplishments in life would be his children. He would never pass up a moment to brag about how amazing they each were. He cherished any time spent with them. He loved spending his time with his family: camping, being outdoors, cliff jumping, exploring anything off-the-beaten-path, and listening to music. He worked many years perfecting his craft with his uncle and brothers, drywalling.  Much of his younger years were spent working in the oil field.

Joe is survived by his five children: Jade, Xander, Cali, Axel, and Adalee; his sister, Tamara (Travis); brothers, Luke, Ryan, and Clayton; the mother of his children, Alicia Munkedal; his mothers Cindy Broadhead (Clint) and Joanne Salmond; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many others he considered family.

Joe was predeceased by his father, Daniel Salmond; grandparents Lorne & Marguerite Salmond; and the mother of his youngest son, Aarin Donley.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial fund for Joe’s children.
