SARASIN, EMMA JEAN
January 22, 1922 — January 9, 2014
We sadly announce the passing of our Mom who went to her heavenly rest at the age of 91. Mom was born in Sunderland, Ontario and was predeceased by parents Myrtle Murray and William Bryan. Also her loving husband of 37 years Carl Nordine in 1983 and siblings Clifford Bryan, Margaret Langill, Wilma Cairns, Mary Bratten, and Elva Rabourn. Survived by her loving husband of 24 years Stanley Sarasin, her 3 children Karlla Dion (Paul), Bryan Nordine (Rosanne), and Cheryl Van Oene. Surviving siblings Ella Foley, Gladys Edwards, and William Bryan. Mom was the middle child of 9, grew up in Crane Valley, Sask. and moved to BC in 1949. She has 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great grandchildren. Mom was a homemaker and also worked in retail sales and bookkeeping. She was much loved by all who knew her. She was a shining example of Christian living, kindness, and love.
