We Remember

SCHAFER, Dillon Cory
October 16, 1992 — February 15, 2025
Dillon Cory Schafer, 32, passed peacefully, at Kelowna General Hospital. Born in Edmonton but raised in Kelowna, he loved music and playing the guitar came naturally to him at a young age. He enjoyed skateboarding and video games. Over the years Dillon worked in the food industry and construction. His last few years were happily spent with his fiance Lynn Topple. He was surrounded by love with his mother, Tammy Schafer & Stepdad Norm Matchett; his sister, Karlee Sarchuk & significant other Eton Chambers; as well as his loving fiancé, Lynn Topple.
Love; Love was the only thing in that room, that day. You will forever be greatly missed.
Dillion, thank you for being you. Thank you for the laughs. Thank you for being kind, caring, and compassionate.
Although we all are completely heartbroken, torn apart, and sad, we will forever feel honoured and grateful to have been there for you, during your final moments on earth with us.
We hope you’re finally at peace. That you’re catching up with your Dad, Tim Schafer. We hope you meet the rest of the family: Uncle Stacey Sarchuk & Auntie Mary-Ellen Kozub, Baba Janice Welsh, Grandpa Roy Schafer, and your first ever girlfriend, Chantel Basin.
You, Dill Pickle, will forever be missed.
