To the Schlenker Family,
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time of loss.
Mr. and Mr.s Schlenker and my mom and dad were friends for close to 60 years. We had Christmases together and years ago, summer camping trips together. Would we all have friends for that long. And here’s a picture taken this summer of my mom, Melita Link, and Mrs. Schlenker.
My deepest Sympathies. Ella & I had the pleasure of having Ollie at our lunch table when we visited at Sandalwood just two weeks ago. So happy we were able to spend some time with her. She will be missed. She and Otto, were among the first to make us feel at home when we moved to Kelowna.
Ollie was a wonderful sister. I was so blessed by her godly positive spirit. I so appreciated her love, care and prayers for my family. She was an example to me in her role as a mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. It was always great spending time with her and I have great memories. Love and prayers to you all. Eric & Violet

Just to add what my brother Rod said, here’s another pic of Mrs. Schlenker and our Mom, illustrating the close bond Ollie had with our family and the warmth she showed to all over the many decades.
