So sorry to hear of Jackie’s passing. Our thoughts are with you Mike and family. We had the privilège of spending a few days with you both just a month ago on your trip down south. She was an amazing navigator and you both steered us in the right direction to some really neat historical sites to see. She was a lovely lady amd she will be missed.

Tara & family,
I am heartbroken to have seen this today. I have fond memories of your mom and time spent at your house as teenagers. She was always smiling, friendly, warm and welcoming. I know she will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with you all at this time.

Dear Mike and the kids, What can I say to console you. The loss of such a wonderful person, a mother, a wife, and for me a sister is a terrible and tragic life changing event. Jackie was very special to each of you and to me also. I loved her dearly like a brother loves a sister. Jackie and I have known each other since we were just little kids, then teenagers, then adults. She was so loving and had an extraordinary way of reaching out to me and many others in her life. Luckily we spoke before she left with Mike on their southern winter journey. She was happy and she made me feel the same way. That was one of her amazing qualities among others. Please know that I am there with you all in spirit and love.

My very deepest Sympathies to all of Jackie’s family and friends. I am still in shock at hearing the news of my sweet horse friend. I always looked forward to chatting with Jackie when I rode by or going for a ride together up the mountain or seeing her with her kids and grandkids at a gymkhana. She ADORED her family so much and I remember how thrilled she was when she bought the pony for her granddaughter to ride. Her zest for life and her beautiful heart will be deeply missed by all. I will always think of her when I see that gorgeous white sweet smelling flower bush blooming out front. Until we meet again my friend. Xo
