We Remember
SCHMIDT, Adolf
December 14, 1925 — February 27, 2015
Adolf went to be with the Lord, who he loved and served all his adult life. He passed away at Kelowna General Hospital with his loving wife Alma by his side. Adolf is survived by Alma, his wife of 65 years; son Arnie (Beth); daughters Linda (Tom), Eileen (Hank), Lilly (Paul); eight grandchildren and many friends and family. Adolf’s wish and prayer was that all of his children and grandchildren would be with Jesus and him in heaven someday. He worked in Calgary as a builder and in the concrete business and retired to Kelowna, with his wife Alma, to continue his passion for fishing. He was a quiet man with a quick wit. He was a man of honour. “We will miss you, but are comforted to know we will see you again in Heaven.” A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 10:00 am at the Church of God, 3705 Mission Springs Drive, Kelowna, BC, with Pastor Harvey Elke officiating. If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”

Dear Sis. Alma and family. We wish you well as you grieve the loss of a wonderful man. Br. Schmidt was a great friend and also a wonderful example. We often went fishing together. Adolf left a great legacy behind as a godly man and a godly example. I will miss him for a while, then meet with him again in heaven.
