We Remember

SCHNEIDER, Gregor Anton
March 13, 1928 — May 11, 2025
Greg Anton Schneider was born in Spring Valley, Saskatchewan on March 13, 1928, and passed away in Kelowna on May 11, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; children Corinne Braun (Robert), Glenn (Anne), and Russ (Debbie); grandchildren Andrew (Juliane) and Chris (Evelynn); great-grandchildren Sebastian, Jaxson, Kato, and one on the way; sisters Gertie and Vicky; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Joe and Eva, and siblings Joe, John, Henry, Jake, Rudy, Agnes, and Rose Marie.
Greg came to Trail, BC, as a young man. He worked in construction, which led him to owning and operating Schneider’s Building Supplies for 37 years. When not working, Greg enjoyed fishing, hunting and travelling, especially to Hawaii. He retired to Kelowna, enjoying time with his grandchildren and walks with Mary.
Special thanks to Dr. Parsons, and the staff at Village at Mill Creek for their loving care.
A family graveside service will be held at a later date.

Sending our condolences to all of Greg’s loving family. Many happy memories of working at Schneider’s Building Supplies, Greg was a kind, supportive man. Paul was young, Herb Hansen & Gordie McBlain were also employees at the time. We will always remember Greg with fondness . Grateful to have shared time with Greg🙏🙏

Mary, I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family. He will be remembered for his gentle, kind manner.
