The grandchildren have lost a treasure–a treasure chest of smiles, happy visits and great stories. Your grandfather had many talents and he shared them with the community through coaching and volunteering. Losing a cherished family member is very hard to understand. Ask about your grandmother, Yvonne, too. Think of the times you shared with your grandfather. Choose a few special moments–a joke he told you, or find out about your Dad’s (Jordan) first souped up Volkswagen and ask your Dad and Uncle Kai to tell you about growing up on Berk Court and some of their favorite stories about your grandfather. Choose some visits or adventures you shared with your grandfather that are special to each of you and put these in your heart and your grandfather will always be with you.
We are sorry for your loss. Marg and Terry Buck Road

Kai and Jordan and families: our hearts reach out to you on the passing of your Dad and Grandpa. We first connected with your family in ‘88 when we house sat for a spell. Your folks were so kind and thoughtful towards us. We are grateful to have known them. Your loss is great.
Commiserations to all Colin’s family. My sister Lee and I as youngsters were so proud to have a grown up cousin who made us laugh. Reading his eulogy he was indeed a wonderful man who had a caring and fulfilled life. We just wish we had the opportunity to know him more than we have.
Kind and warm wishes to the rest of the family
